I’m Jean Ali Muhlbauer, your career’s BFF and mentor in breaking barriers. 

As an immigrant and the first in my family to navigate the corporate world, I know what it’s like to enter spaces where no one looks like you or shares your background.

I started as a receptionist and worked my way up to reporting directly to the CEO, earning multi-six figures along the way. With no built-in network or mentors, I carved my own path. Alongside my journey, I earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Resources, giving me the formal foundation to back up my experience.

 

But I wasn’t always this person.  

For years, I felt stuck and undervalued. The pressure to succeed took a toll—I experienced burnout, and my health suffered. I know the isolation that comes with being the first in your family to walk this path.

My turning point came when I learned to define and communicate my unique value, finding my voice in rooms where I once felt invisible.
